Dr. Sabrina Piombo

Dr. Sabrina Piombo grew up in Argentina and moved to Canada in 1991. Her passion for animals small and large began as a small child. She graduated from Carleton University with a BSc and received her DVM degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2000. Dr. Piombo joined the Wingrove team in 2001 after  working at other small animal practices and emergency clinics. She became clinic owner in 2004. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. Sabrina enjoys spending time with her dogs and cat and in her time off can be found outside: skiing, camping, hiking or on the bike trails with her partner Jon.

Dr. Cindy Favaro:

Dr Cindy Favaro grew up in Guelph but graduated from the Royal Veterinary College of London, England. She was excited to return to her home town of Guelph to practice veterinary medicine, and joined Wingrove in 2012. Cindy has a particular interest in feline medicine and is an active member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She also holds a certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture, which she obtained from the Chi Institute in Florida. Cindy enjoys traveling, visiting the cottage and spending time with her friends, pets, and her family, including her partner Mike.

Dr. Sharon Butzke:

Dr. Sharon grew up in Guelph and, according to her mom, decided in Grade 3 that she was going to be a veterinarian. She stayed close to home, attending the University of Guelph and fulfilled her dream of graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009. Dr. Sharon is passionate about preventive medicine and enjoys working with pet owners to keep their pets happy and healthy! She and her husband Tyler enjoy playing volleyball and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Mary Ann Payne-Chase

Mary Ann's passion for animals started at an early age as she trailed her father around while he cared for a variety of animals on a small farm in the Ottawa valley.  She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1987. Although her children have moved out ( well almost) she and husband Aaron share their home with her two cats.  Outside of the clinic she is an avid hiker, reader and camper.
